I’m currently sitting in Room 313 at the Holiday Inn Express in McComb, Mississippi. My son is sleeping, my husband is out working on his latest claim, and I’ve been mulling over what “vacation” truly means.
Lauren’s figured out that regardless of what her head might suggest, she’s not Peter Pan after all − barely in time.
Can you say mad house? Lauren and I enjoyed whiling away an hour or so drooling over everything.
Then I chickened out because I don’t like conflict and this feels very conflicty-ish, and then I realized that just because I don’t like conflict doesn’t mean I can’t handle conflict or that I have to back away from conflict.
